N°RRA Stories
Feb 9
There’s been such beautiful weather over the past few days, and this time Feelm Creative and I had the chance to film in amazing conditions for Norra, both on ground level and up in the air. I’m still not sure how we managed to carry everything, but we brought a RED Raptor, a Gemini, and a Komodo, all with different lenses, attachments and purposes.
The assignment for the day was to capture the routines of the cabin crew and pilots for a personal story on social media.
Gothenburg was our first destination, and the flight was nearly fully booked. You’d think a few extra bags and cases in the cabin would be a piece of cake, but it definitely came with challenges. We had to make as much space as possible for the passengers, while still keeping our gear accessible for filming. You never know when you’ll need to swap batteries or SD cards.
After a swift flight back to Helsinki, our next destination was Kuopio. This flight was calm and quiet, with fewer people on board. I could finally enjoy my lunch. Usually, I don’t feel much appetite when I’m focused or maybe a little obsessively determined to finish the job. Even though work-related stress can sometimes push us forward, we shouldn’t forget to take care of ourselves. The camera and equipment don’t function if you don’t.
As I’m writing this, we’re just about to land back in Helsinki. I’m a little tired of flying, but it’s been a productive day. Thanks again to Feelm Creative and Norra for trusting me with your projects.
