Red bull Drone Filming
I write about two separate productions, but in one post. Through Koptercam, I was assigned to spot their FPV drone pilot and help with prep during the Red Bull Heavy Metal event, and then, three days later, assist with a cable cam setup for another Red Bull project.
Fort William
Visiting the real-life filming locations in Scotland, flying a drone over the Glenfinnan Viaduct, and feeling the magic vibes in Fort William and Edinburgh was unforgettable. For anyone chasing that childhood wonder, a trip like this is pure movie magic.
Tuska Festival
I stepped in as a fill-in videographer on the final day of Tuska Festival, capturing highlights and good vibes. Harsh light and no ND filters made shooting very tough, and I’m not too satesfied with the footage. Lesson learned: ND filters now packed. Big thanks for the opportunity—despite the challenge, I grew from it.
EKOspol
I headed to Sweden to create a showreel for EKOspol. We brought only lightweight gear and rented the rest of the equipment from Storyline in Stockholm. The rental process was fast and easy, and the customer support was exceptional. With great lighting, improvised shots, and a clear vision based on client references, the production went very smoothly.
YLE Areena Stories
On behalf of YLE Arena Stories, we shot the mini-series Imago. It wasn’t the easiest production, and we faced plenty of challenges along the way. Working with a tight schedule and limited budget, we pushed through and still managed to capture some really great shots.
